We promote our products in many different ways to give you the best possible value:
Our standard list pricing on many brands is below suggested retail because we purchase in large volume, have the products manufactured in laboratory sized batches for our own brand, purchase during manufacturer sales and pass the savings to you, have developed special distributor relationships with suppliers over our 34 year history or we simply want to match the deals our competitors are offering.
We offer Free Ground Shipping of domestic orders over $99. This is not automatically applied to your order because you may wish to select an expedited shipping method. You will see "Free Shipping/1-7 days" offered in the drop-box of shipping method choices if your order is shipping to any address with a US Zip Code (including APO/FPO military addresses) and your net merchandise purchase, after all discounts, totals at least $99.
We offer Special Sale prices on various items and brands most of the time. You may find these listed on the home page, on this new "Promotions" page or simply on the product category or item pages throughout the site. Current examples of this include 7.5% off all DreamSacks products and 50% off all Kama Sutra products.
We offer deeply-discounted Clearance Sale prices on items or complete brands that are being retired either by us or by the manufacturer to make room for new offerings. Current examples of this include 50% off all Red Tea and all Oceana products by TerraNova®, 25% off all Pre de Provence Shea Butter Lotions and Shower Gels and 50% off all Zia products.
Watch for the blue "View Quantity Discounts" buttons on products, and some entire lines, that allow you to mix-n-match for savings that will be automatically deducted from your shopping cart total. Current examples of this include Badger, Mediterranean Spa, Orange Mate, Misticks, Moodstar and Pre de Provence.
In addition to most specials offered to the general public, subscribers to our UncommonScents.com® eMailing List periodically receive newsletters that include some pretty outrageous Coupon Code deals. You can join the list by entering your email address in the box below the left-side menu on every page of the site and then clicking on the "Go" button. You will receive an email asking you to double opt-in by confirming that you do indeed wish to join the list, and protecting you from someone else adding you against your wishes. You will also be offered a signup box when placing an order on our site. We respect your privacy and pledge to never share or sell your email address for any other purpose.
We have a tradition called the "Uncommon Summer Sale" that varies slightly in date range and format, but basically we celebrate our own Uncommon Scents® Brand of products every year with a 33% off event for about 10 days in late July / early August.
